Day Five

Here we are at day six, yesterday was a very long day and night, the heat was almost unbearable, it rained a little which made it worse and then there was no breeze at all so we just melted.

Today we got to sleep in a little due to the fact that we were so tired from last night. We decided to have a bit of a rest today and not do very much, so...

First we went to vist Jingle's Dad, I got to meet him and his wife not long ago as they were visiting their daughter (Jingle, Pinky's cousin) in Perth.

After that we went home, stayed in our airconditioned room for most the day.

In the evening we were invited to dine with the Chua family. Lovely people. Suesette was the perfect host as always while her husband Josh cooked up a meal fit for a king, I loved the food. Chad turned up, why wouldnt he, more food, hahahahah, just kidding Chad, and we all sat around chit chatting about different things, movies, people... etc.

Fresh local crab
Fried squid
Crispy Pork Belly
Yellow Fin Tuna cooked in vinegar with a mayonaise dressing

vroom vroom!

Chad is considering getting a motobike so he decided to go for a text ride, hells angel I dont think so, maybe more of a lazy demon hahahah.

Tomorrow we head off to Dumaguete. A city on the Island of Negros. See you there.

  1. Crab looks good. Not sure about the tuna and mayonaise. Will be intrigued to see what you thought of it.

  3. Yummy, well it beats the wok in a box I'm having tonight for sure. I'm amazed at the variety of foods you've shown. You'd better get some exercise for the remainder of your trip or you'll be overwight for the trip back. hehehehe
